How to clean my BLUU mat?

    • We recommend to clean your BLUU Aligner mat around the 10th use. How often to clean it also depends on how much sweat tends to reside per use. If you are not a heavy sweater then every 15 uses or so is fine. This is to prevent it form gaining a lingering smell and deteriorating, we want you to be able to your use mat for as long as possible.
    • There are different ways to clean your
    • BLUU Aligner mat and you can use either detergent or dish soap.
  • Cleaning your BLUU Aligner mat by hand
    • Grab water in a bowl, add a drop of soap. It should not able to create foam. 
    • Use a soft rag or sponge, soak it in water and gently wipe the mat, make sure enough water is used since the PU instantly absorbs it.
    • Pour water over to remove any excess soap.
    • Extend it and let it dry.
  • Cleaning your BLUU Aligner mat in a bathtub
    • Fill your bathtub with cold water just to the point that it can mostly cover your PU mat.
    • Pour just a bit of detergent or dish soap and scrub your mat with a soft rag or sponge
    • Let the soapy water and pour clean water to remove any excess soap.
    • Extend and let it dry.
  • Cleaning your BLUU Aligner mat with a hose 
    • Extend or hang your BLUU Aligner mat
    • Soak the surface with water, once soaked use use water with a drop of soap to scrub either by hand or with a rag or sponge.
    • Use your hose to remove all the soap from the mat.
    • Let it try. 
  • What NOT to do to your mat
    • Do not clean with essential oils, most studios offer a cold towel with infused essential oils, do not use those to wipe your mat.
    • Do not leave it under the sun
